Middlesex 1834 Wm. Till Halfpenny- Reverse same as Buckingham Slough
1834 Wm. Till Halfpenny mint red in the devices. 29MM Copper- Lovely design by William Till who was a great friend of James Conder and others of the coin world in England. I have added this to the Conder even though it belongs in a different category but since these men were so close, I have added him with the Conder's. Even though this coin is in Middlesex, the reverse is the same as the Buckingham Slough as William Till owned the Red Lion Inn that is listed in The Provincial Token Coinage of the 18th Century and the Buckingham Slough D&H 21 to 26. |
